Bucks Beat Suns to Win 1st Championship in 50 Years

 

MILWAUKEE, WI – The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Phoenix Suns 105-98 in game 6 Tuesday night and have won the 2021 NBA Championship.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's 50 point night lifted the Bucks to their first championship since 1971 and second overall.

The Bucks led exiting the first quarter 29-16 only to fall behind at the half 47-42. Antetokounmpo would score 33 of his 50 points in the second half. Giannis went 17 of 19 from the free throw line.

The Suns led 2-0 to start the series then dropped 4 straight to the Bucks to end the series at 6 games.

Chris Paul led the Suns in scoring with 26 points followed by Devin Booker with 19 points.

Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 50 points. Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis followed Giannis’ big night with 17 and 16 points respectively.
