Suspect Arrested For Possessing Lewd Images Involving Children

ABILENE, TX -- An Abilene man is facing serious charges after he allegedly viewed child pornography on Instagram.

According to the Abilene Police Department, investigators received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children stating the obscene images on social media.

After identifying Kyler Hatten, investigators contacted the suspect at his place of work. After speaking with investigators, Hatten admitted he sent, received, and currently possessed child pornography.

Hatten was charged with Possession with intent to promote child pornography. He was released after posting a $20,000 bond.
