Suspect Arrested After Committing Three Armed Robberies

ABILENE, TX – An Abilene man is behind bars after he was allegedly involved in three aggravated robberies.

According to the Abilene Police Department, the robberies occurred during the 1st, 2nd, and 4th of July.

The robberies took place at the Allsups on South 14th, 7-11 on East Highway 80, and Stripes on Dub Wright Boulevard in Abilene.

In all three robberies the suspect, identified as Eric Miller, brandished a black handgun and demanded money from the cashiers.

Authorities initially contacted Miller after he matched the description of a suspect seen on the footage.

During the interview with police, Miller admitted that he was under the influence of narcotics when committing the robberies. He alleged he intended to use the stolen money to pay back a debt.

Miller was subsequently arrested and booked into the Taylor County Jail. His bond was set at $105,000.
