Suspects Arrested for Smuggling Illegal Aliens

ABILENE, TX – Wednesday around noon the Tye Police Department arrested two men for human smuggling.

Frank Apodaca and Ernesto Fernandez were traveling down I-20 and were pulled over for a traffic stop.

While stopped, police found out that two men ,who were in the back seat, were smuggled here illegally. Police also found three other illegal aliens in the bed of the truck as well.

To make matters worse, a loaded .45 caliber pistol was also located.

Both Apodaca and Fernandez were arrested and charged with five counts of human smuggling.
