SAN ANGELO,TX – The San Angelo Police Department has issued the following press release to update the fatal assault of Jason Garivay.
Update to The Penny Pub Tap House incident that occurred on June 19, 2021:
The initial call for service was for a stabbing victim at Shannon Medical Center.
Upon further investigation it was determined that the victim sustained injuries due to an assault that occurred in the parking lot of The Penny Pub Tap House (2414 College Hills).
On June 27, 2021 the victim succumbed to his injuries from the felonious assault. An autopsy was performed on June 29, 2021.
The final cause of death is pending until the autopsy results are concluded.
