Angry Woman Arrested After Shooting Husband

ODESSA, TX -- The Odessa Police Department has confirmed an arrest has been made in a shooting that occurred around 3:00 a.m. on Friday.

According to OPD, 59-year-old Carolina Martinez got into an argument with her husband, an unidentified 69-year-old man. Martinez would ultimately shoot the victim in the upper body.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

During the preliminary investigation Martinez was identified as the shooter.

Martinez was then arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Family Violence), a 1st Degree Felony.
