Texas Burger Restaurant Opening Soon in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX – Texas Burger has confirmed that the company is looking at opening the doors in late June.

According to the public relations manager for Texas Burger, on Jun. 4, the opening day for Texas Burger is approaching fast. 

"Although the official day has not been set we are hoping to have the doors open by late June," said Craig Van Amburgh President of CVA advertising.

Texas Burger is a West Texas staple and has been in the Permian Basin since the 1960s. The first restaurant was built in 1967 in Odessa. The company is owned by Bobby D. Cox who still owns operates that business. Another restaurant chain that Cox owns is Rosa's. There are currently two in San Angelo already which led the company to try another style of eatery. 

"San Angelo is a very successful market for our other business like Rosa's," said Van Amburgh. "We believe that the Texas Burger concept will work as well." 

The choice items available at Texas Burger is the signature Texas Burgers, Footlong Chili Cheese Dog, and homemade ice cream. Van Amburgh assured that their burgers were "freshly made to order" and that "they give the consumer something more industrialized restaurants don't." 

When the restaurant opens it will have 35-50 employees. The restaurant is currently accepting applications and will start the hiring process very soon.
