MIDLAND, TX – The Midland Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a murder suspect involved in a deadly shooting at El Mitote Sports Lounge.
The shooting occurred shortly after 2:00 a.m. on Saturday. When MPD officers arrived at the scene they learned a verbal altercation outside the bar as it closed became physical.
During the argument, 23-year-old Guadalupe ‘Lupe’ Galindo III allegedly discharged a firearm multiple times before fleeing the scene.
The victim, identified as Juan M. Anguiano, was transported to a local hospital where he would ultimately succumb to his injuries.
Authorities have issued a murder warrant for Galindo.
