Six individuals chose to get behind the behind the wheel in a state of inebriation on Sunday, and drove so effectively that they caught the attention of law enforcement officers and were booked into the county jail for DWI.
Among them were 42-year-old Louis Carranza III, 24-year-old Kaleb Todd Elkins, 28-year-old Jason Scott Little, also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and 25-year-old Ernesto Manuel Reyes, Jr., who was booked on his second DWI. Silvestre Franco, 42, was booked for DWI with a BAC >/= 0.15, or twice the legal limit. He also had no driver's license. Manuel Moya Rocha, 46, was booked on a litany of charges that included DWI 3rd or more, attempting to elude while intoxicated, a parole violation and several capias warrants.
On Saturday, two more were booked for drunk driving; 32-year-old Daniel Flores, who was also charged with resisting arrest, and 43-year-old Ruben Ramirez. View Saturday's full booking report here. Here are Saturday's releases.
On Friday, 35-year-old Patrick Alfar Carias was jailed for DWI with a BAC >/= 0.15 and no driver's license. View Friday's full booking report here. Here are Friday's releases.
In addition to Sunday's drunk drivers, 17 more individuals were booked into the county jail, including four for assault, one for marijuana possession, one for theft, one for public intoxication and one for terroristic threats. Fourteen were released on Sunday.
