MERKEL, TX – The Merkel Police Department is asking for your help locating a missing endangered runaway.
According to the MPD, on May 18, 15-year-old Meredith Rylei Ellen Tate was reported missing from her home in Merkel.
Tate was last seen around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The child is believed to be in "imminent danger."
If you have seen this child contact the MPD immediately at (325) 928-4766.
UPDATE MAY 21, 2021:
The MPD has confirmed that the child has been found "safe and unharmed" Thursday night.
According to the MPD, on May 21 at 8:40 p.m., MPD confirmed that Tate had been found safe and unharmed, and she was in their possession.
It is unclear at this point if the child was abducted from her home or if she was a runaway.
