Only One New Positive COVID-19 Infection Reported Wednesday

SAN ANGELO, TX –  Only one new positive COVID-19 infection was reported on Wednesday.

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on May 19, the city's health department reported another COVID-19 infection. This brings the total positive infections since Mar. 2020 to 16,860. 

There are currently 46 active COVID-19 infections in Tom Green County. Tom Green County has a population of 119,200. 

There are currently 12 patients hospitalized in Tom Green County with COVID-19.

So far there have been 309 COVID-19 fatalities in Tom Green County. 199 of them were residents of the county.
