Man Jailed for Money Laundering Thursday

 

A 23-year-old man was picked up by the SAPD yesterday on a warrant of out of Brown County for money laundering. The charge alleges that Michael Antony Constancio laundered $20k or more, but less than $100k, a third-degree felony. 

The San Angelo Police Department arrested Constancio after he was involved in a car crash at Ave. T and La Cruz St. Thursday afternoon. At that time, police determined he had a warrant out for his arrest for money laundering and found him to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. 

In addition to Constancio, 22 other individuals were booked into the county jail on Thursday, among them two charged with theft, two with assault, two with possession and two with public intoxication. There was one charge apiece for burglary and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
