NWS: Severe Storms Possible Beginning Tuesday Afternoon

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The National Weather Service office in San Angelo is forecasting strong to severe thunderstorms for the Concho Valley starting Tuesday afternoon.  

According to the NWS, thunderstorms are possible beginning after 1 p.m. across the Concho Valley.  The main threat will be dangerous winds and lightening.  A tornado is also possible with these storms. 

The chance of precipitation Tuesday afternoon is 30 percent.  

Tuesday night the rain chance increases to 60 percent mainly after 4 a.m.

Wednesday the chance for severe storms continues at 60 percent with the main threats being hail, high winds and dangerous lightning.  There is a slight chance of rain Wednesday night into Thursday.
