Survey Says Matthew McConaughey Might Be Texas' Next Governor

AUSTIN, TX – According to a recent survey, Matthew McConaughey has a good chance of winning the governor's seat in Texas.

According to a survey conducted by the Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas actor Matthew McConaughey has a large following of people that would like to see him be the governor of Texas.

During the survey 45 percent of people claimed they would vote for McConaughey compared to 33 percent for incumbent Gov. Greg Abbott.

It is unclear which side of politics he sits on but Gov. Abbott is already gearing up for his next run as the Republican Candidate.

The next governor election is in Mar. 2022.
