WATCH: Bison and Longhorns Put on a Show for Visitors at the San Angelo State Park

SAN ANGELO, TX – The bison and longhorn herds at the San Angelo State Park put on quite a show for visitors recently.

The herds are easy to see in the eastern portion of the park in adjoining pastures when they are fed by park attendants.

In the following video you can see the bison grazing along a fence near the corral near the park headquarters by O.C. Fisher dam.  Then the video turns to the longhorn herd at a water trough near the south entrance to the park.

The final portion of the video is a slow motion view of the bison and longhorns together with a fence between them as visitors look on.

Enjoy the video!

Admission to the San Angelo State Park is $4 per person per day or by an annual park pass.

Visitors enter the San Angelo State Park through the South Shore entrance on FM-2288 north of the Arden Rd. intersection.
