SAN ANGELO, TX – Downtown San Angelo Inc. (DSA, Inc.) is proud to announce the installation of a gateway at the corner of Randolph and Concho Ave and placement of 12 historic street lights along the Concho Ave. corridor from Koenigheim to Randolph.
The gateway is part of continued efforts to assist with the revitalization of our downtown district. The archway will stand tall welcoming all those who travel to downtown seeking art, dining, shopping, and entertainment.
In 2007, initial discussions of creating a gateway and well-lit entryway into historic downtown emerged as part of our Main Street objectives. In 2019 the two proposals became a reality with the financial support of the following sponsors: San Angelo Area Foundation - San Angelo Health Foundation - First Financial Bank - YMCA.
Downtown San Angelo, Inc. would like to acknowledge their financial contributions making it possible for the construction of what will be a long-standing landmark in our community.
