Suspect Arrested in Ector County Murder

ODESSA, TX -- An Odessa man has been charged with murder after he allegedly shot 38-year-old Mario Castillo.

According to OPD, early Friday morning officers were dispatched to the  9000 block of Ratliff Ridge Ave. for reports of a shooting.

At the scene officers located Castillo who appeared to have died as a result of a gunshot wound.

36-year-old Clinton Saunders was arrested at the scene. 

The preliminary investigation showed an incident led Saunders to shoot Castillo.

Saunders was arrested and booked into the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
