San Angelo Man Indicted on Gun Charges

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Thomas Gonzales has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury for possession of a deadly weapon by a felon.

On November 9th, 2020, police officers responded to the Motel 6 on North Bryant Boulevard in reference to a shooting that took place.

According to court documents and surveillance footage, Gonzales was hiding outside of room 211 and when the door opened for a third party, Gonzales went into the room with a handgun and pointed it at Armondo Meza. 

Meza went to retrieve a handgun and shot at Gonzales who then fled.

A warrant for Gonzales was issued and he was arrested on November 11th, 2020.

Thomas Gonzales remains in jail and his bond has been set at $60,000.00.
