DALLAS,TX- The Philadelphia Eagles have requested an interview with Dallas Cowboy Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore for their Head Coaching position.
Earlier in the offseason, Moore had interviewed for the Boise State Head Coaching vacancy but withdrew his name and signed a three-year contract extension with the Cowboys.
The Dallas Cowboys cannot stop the young offensive mind from taking a head coaching position. The Eagles fired Doug Pederson on Monday after a disappointing season with a 4-11-1 record.
Dallas went into the season with a shiny new offensive weapon in rookie wideout CeeDee Lamb and found a pleasant surprise in tight end Dalton Schultz but was without offensive tackles La’El Collins and All-Pro Tyron Smith as well as quarterback Dak Prescott for most of the 2020 season.
Dispite this, the Cowboys offense was ranked 14th in yards per game, 9th in passing, 17th in rushing, and 17th in points.
