Trailer Park Boy Stuck in Jail on Drug Charges

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A Ben Ficklin trailer park resident has been indicted for manufacturing and delivering methamphetamine.

According to court documents, on Nov. 5, deputies with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office and troopers with the Department of Public Safety executed an arrest warrant for George Phillips, 30, on the 4100 block of Mobile Park. 

During the search, authorities found between four grams and two hundred grams of methamphetamine and more than four ounces of marijuana.

Following the initial arrest, Phillips was charged with possession of a controlled substance PG 2, manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance PG 1, possession of marijuana over four ounces and money laundering.

On Dec. 9, a Tom Green County grand jury indicted Phillips for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance PG 1 and possession of marijuana over four ounces. 

Phillips has been in the Tom Green County Jail since the initial arrest after the judge set his bond at $155,000.

A plea hearing has been set for Jan. 14.
