MERKEL, TX – A Trent ISD high school math teacher has been arrested after authorities accused him of downloading lewd images of children from the Ukraine.
As previously reported, on Dec. 22, 61-year-old William Robert Farrar was arrested Monday morning in Merkel by DPS troopers. See: Teacher Arrested for Possession of Lewd Images
Now DPS has released additional information about the investigation. According to KTXS, the troopers found 23 electronic devices with an IP address that was were used while downloading nine files of child pornography.
One of the files -- from a former Ukranian modeling studio -- contained 12 photographs and two videos of two girls. It is unknown how many images were on the other eight files.
Farrar was a taught 8-12th grade math at Trent ISD.
He now remains in the Taylor County Jail on a $30,000 bond.

Permalink"Children from the Ukraine" is incorrect. It's been 30 years since the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine, in which "the Ukraine" has been ditched by Ukrainians and professional journalists for "Ukraine".

PermalinkBeen a while, kid. How's the trolling coming along? Very true, however, about the ''hiding pervs''. The online ones are one thing, but the ones who tip toe around public places, stalking young women and fishing around for personal info are the ones we all need to be mindful of.
I'm very aware of "what really matters", and hopefully we won't have any more encounters as we did in the past, lest someone give you a demonstrable example of how much these things matter.
