Murder in Rural County Under Investigation

LAKE PROCTOR, TX --The Comanche County Sheriff's Office has confirmed they are investigating a homicide near Lake Proctor.

According to the agency, the preliminary investigation revealed the individuals involved were in a domestic relationship and have been identified. 

Deputies are not searching for suspects at the moment and reiterated there is no perceived threat to the public.

The Texas Rangers are assisting in the investigation.
