Cholula Bought Out for $800 Million

SAN ANGELO, TX – One of the most popular hot sauce brands in the United States has been purchased for $800 million.

In 1989 Cholula was brought to the United States. Since then it has become one of the most notable and recognizable bottles at most restaurants.

The hot sauce brand has now been purchased by popular spice brand, McCormicks & Co.

This is the second sauce brand that has been bought by McCormicks in the past few years. They recently also inquired Frank's Red Hot, which is a popular sauce for buffalo wings.

Cholula has seen an uptick in revenue since the start of the pandemic. They have also adapted the way Cholula can be used at restaurants safely with the Hands-Free Cholula machine.

Although the company has made the purchase, they are assuring fans that they will not be changing anything in the famous sauce.
