SAN ANGELO, TX – The Department of State Health Services has listed the San Angelo region (Trauma Service K) hospitalization rate above the 15 percent threshold for the second day in a row.
According to the DSHS, on Nov. 18, the San Angelo region had a hospitalization rate of 16.85 percent.
This means that nearly 17 percent of Trauma Service Area K's hospitals capacity are COVID-19 patients.
Wednesday was the second consecutive day of being over 15 percent. Nov. 17 area K surpassed the threshold for the first time with a 15.01 percent. Then on Nov. 18, area K's rate was 16.85 percent.
More numbers are expected later Thursday.
