Midland Cancels Christmas in 2020

 

MIDLAND, TX -- As coronavirus cases continue to climb in Midland, city officials have announced the cancellation of holiday events for this year.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony,  scheduled for December 1st, and the Christmas Parade, scheduled for December 12, have been officially canceled.

Even though the public event will no longer take place, the tree will go up in Centennial Park and be lit on December 1.
