LAREDO, TX – Multiple agencies working together including the U.S. Border Patrol, Homeland Security Investigations, and Webb County Constables Precinct 2 deputies shut down a stash house in Laredo on Wednesday.
Reports state the incident occurred during the late afternoon of November 4, when agents acted on a tip which provided information on suspicious activity at a home on Lyon Street in Laredo. Following a consensual search of the residence, a total of ten undocumented individuals were discovered inside the home.
All subjects were medically screened at the scene and determined to have entered the United States illegally from other countries including Mexico and Ecuador. Personal protective equipment was also distributed to all individuals apprehended during the encounter.
Additionally, agents with the U.S. Border Patrol took these subjects into custody and processed them accordingly.
