Coronavirus: Hospitalizations Steady on Monday

SAN ANGELO, TX -- On the 224th day after San Angelo reported its first case of COVID-19, the health department has reported 49 new cases.

Last week the health department confirmed nearly 400 new cases, and this week could prove to follow a similar trend. 

Monday's cases are made up of mostly patients over the age of 21, with a few of them being identified as minors. Additionally, 42 of the patients are residents of Tom Green County.

The cases were confirmed using 8 PCR tests and 41 antigen tests. There are currently 38 patients hospitalized.
