Nearly 20,000 Ballots Already Cast in Tom Green County

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – With under one week left to go in early voting nearly 20,000 people have cast their ballots in Tom Green County.

According to the Tom Green County Elections Office, on Oct. 26, 18,624 votes have been cast as of 10 a.m. Monday. 

There are 70,055 registered voters in Tom Green County.

Poll workers at the Keyes building claim that Monday has been their slowest day but 543 votes were cast by 10 a.m.

The two places to early vote are the Tom Green County Elections Office in the Keyes building and the old Tom Green County Jail sally port. On Monday the drive through sally port location was closed due to bad weather. It will reopen Wednesday.
