Famous Roper Drops Out of Cinch Roping Fiesta

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo announced Wednesday that Match Roper Caleb Smidt had to withdraw from the championship because of an injury. 

This is from the Facebook post: "MATCH ROPING UPDATE: Due to injury, Caleb Smidt has bowed out of the Cinch Roping Fiesta Match Roping. Tuf Cooper will be replacing Smidt in the match. Tuf will face off with Reigning Calf Roping World Champion, Haven Meged, in the $20,000 match! #cinchropingfiesta."

The Cinch Roping takes place in the San Angelo outdoor arena by the coliseum this weekend.
