Coronavirus: Is this the new normal?

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Tom Green County kicks off the week with 38 new cases of coronavirus. For the third week in a row the number of daily cases hovers around 30.

According to the San Angelo Health Department, 33 of the 38 cases belong to Tom Green County residents.

Last week the health department confirmed 255 new cases, a number that had not been seen since the summer spike. According to the data 206 or 80.7% of last week's cases belonged to residents of this county.

 Monday's cases were confirmed using 26 PCR tests and 12 antigen tests. There are currently 38 patients hospitalized in San Angelo.
