Thousands of Voters Cast Ballots Early in Tom Green County

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Tom Green County Elections Office reported Friday that more than six percent of Tom Green County registered voters have already cast ballots.

According to the elections office, on Oct. 16, there have been 4,353 ballots cast as of 9 a.m.

In Tom Green County there are 70,067 registered voters. There are 6,000 more registered voters now than in the March primary election.

Tom Green County Elections administrator Vona Hudson says that the number of registered voters is still increasing as they continue to receive more registrations from the Secretary of State. 

The two places to early vote are the Tom Green County Elections Office in the Keyes building and the old Tom Green County Jail sally port.
