Rain and Flooding Chances Continue Through Thursday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Additional showers and thunderstorms will likely affect the Concho Valley and West Central Texas at times through late tonight.

The main hazard will be heavy rainfall and the potential for flooding, especially across the Northwest Hill Country and Northern Edwards plateau.

Thursday through Tuesday, additional heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible Thursday, especially in the morning hours.

The main hazard will be heavy downpours possibly resulting in urban and small stream flooding.

Additional heavy rainfall could result in flash flooding in the Northern Edwards Plateau and Northwest Hill Country, where a Flash Flood Watch continues through Thursday morning.

There is a 50 percent chance of rain for the remainder of the afternoon and an 80 percent chance overnight.

The 80 percent chance continues throughout the day Thursday.
