Twenty-two individuals walked into the jail in handcuffs Monday, many of which were booked on multiple different charges.
Two of those put behind bars were accused of car theft, a male and a female, who were booked approximately six hours apart. One of the alleged thieves was brought in by the SAPD, the other was booked by both the SAPD and TGCSO. Both had additional charges relating to previous offenses.
In addition, four counts of theft, two counts of assault, one possession, one marijuana and one DWI charge were reflected on the report. Another man was booked on a motion to revoke probation warrant related to a 2009 charge of sexual assault of a child.
Twenty inmates were released from the jail on Monday.
