Coronavirus: Thursday Cases Highest Confirmed This Week

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- On Thursday afternoon the City of San Angelo reported the highest daily number of cases this week.

With 30 new cases confirmed today, this week's total has reached 93 cases. This brings the total active cases to 750.

Tom Green County will most likely surpass 3,000 total cases by tomorrow as the current total is reported as 2,996.

The demographical breakdown of the 30 new patients is the following:

Of the 30 patients 13 were identified as White, 12 as Hispanic, and 5 as unknown. 

Additionally 28 out of the 30 are residents of Tom Green County.

The cases were confirmed using 23 PCR tests and 7 antigen testing.

There are currently 51 patients hospitalized.
