BROWNWOOD, TX — The Brown County SWAT Team was involved in a narcotics investigation that resulted in the confiscation of a large amount of methamphetamine.
According to the Brownwood Bulletin, the SWAT Team executed a search warrant in the 1600 block of Ave I.
During the search, authorities found a firearm and meth inside the home. According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, they located 28 grams of methamphetamine.
As a result of the search two arrests were made: 36-year-old Jeanna Hopkins and 35-year-old Selso Martinez.
According to authorities, Hopkins and Selso were charged with possession of a controlled substance over 4grams under 200grams with intent to deliver in a drug-free zone.
Additionally, Hopkins faces a charge of hindering the apprehension of a person with felony warrants.
Martinez will also be charged with harassment of a public servant, resisting arrest, failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Martinez also had several active felony warrants at the time of the arrest.
