Teen Girl Shot to Death at Party

ABILENE, TX – A teenaged girl was shot and killed at a party in northern Taylor County outside Abilene Sunday.

According to reports, the 19-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene and investigators continue to collect evidence.

KTXS is reporting the girl was shot around 3 a.m. at what officials describe as '"a big party" in the 2500 block of Fulwiler Road.

Officials have not released the identity of the victim.

The Taylor County Sheriff's office is investigating the crime and say there is a lot of evidence of a party with bottles and cans littering the yard.

The victim's body has been sent to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
