SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo has released the full coronavirus report for the week. Since Wednesday 79 people have been released from quarantine.
According to the City of San Angelo, on August 14, there are 763 active cases of coronavirus in Tom Green County. Since the beginning there have been 2,844 confirmed cases in the County.
This means 1,876 patients have been released from quarantine. The City of San Angelo does not report recovered cases.
So far 16,659 tests have been administered in Tom Green Conty. 11,305 have come back negative. 100 tests are still pending. Of the 2,844 positive tests 2,072 of them have been from PCR tests and 772 of them have been from antigen tests. San Angelo has a 18.3% positivity rate for the last 7 days.
There are currently 44 patients in the hospital due to coronavirus. Seven of them are currently in the ICU. Since March there have been 380 patients admitted into the hospital in Tom Green County with COVID-19.
Overall COSA has announced 42 deaths in San Angelo. 31 of them are residents of Tom Green County.
