Update: One Death Reported in Tom Green County Tuesday

SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo reported 69 new cases of COVID-19 in Tom Green County on Tuesday. 

According to the City of San Angelo, on August 11, since the beginning there have been 2,740 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Tom Green County. Tom Green County has a population of 119,200. 

Hospitalizations have jumped from 50 to 54 since Monday. No deaths have been reported today but overall COSA has announced 37 deaths in San Angelo, 27 of them were residents of Tom Green County.

There are currently 822 active cases of coronavirus in Tom Green County.

Out of the 69 new cases 27 were PCR cases and 42 were antigen cases.
