Coronavirus: Hospitalization Numbers Drop Friday

SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo reported 44 new cases of COVID-19 in Tom Green County on Friday. 

According to the City of San Angelo, on August 7, since the beginning there have been 2,604 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Tom Green County. Tom Green County has a population of 119,200. 

Hospitalizations have dropped to 46. Overall COSA has announced 31 deaths in San Angelo. 21 of them are residents of Tom Green County. One death was announced today: Coronavirus: San Angelo Health Department Confirms 31st Death

The city is expected to release the full coronavirus report later today.

Out of the 44 new cases 32 were PCR cases and 12 were antigen cases.
