SAN ANGELO, TX – Two deaths and a number of new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed by the San Angelo's Health Department on Monday.
Monday, July 20 the City of San Angelo reported two deaths in Tom Green County. The first patient was a male in his 60s and the second patients was female in her 90s. For more information click here. This brings the death toll to 13.
Today the City of San Angelo's Health Department added another 63 new positive cases to the total case count.
Since the beginning of the pandemic the City of San Angelo's Health Department has reported 1,560 positive cases. There are currently 761 active cases in San Angelo.
According to the DSHS COVID-19 map as of July 19 at 4:05 p.m. Trauma Service Area K, which is made up of Coke, Concho, Crockett, Irion, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Reagan, Runnels, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton, and Tom Green County, serves 179,457 citizens.
425 hospital beds are currently staffed and there are currently 196 beds available. There are 15 ICU beds with a total of 43 Ventilators available. In San Angelo the City reported 39 lab-confirmed COVID-19 patients in the hospital. In the service region there are 42 currently hospitalized.
