Jail Standards: Tom Green Co. Jail Has 2 Inmates with COVID-19, 37 Quarantined

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Texas Commission on Jail Standards is reporting that two inmates in the Tom Green County Jail have tested positive for COVID-19.

The report on the TCJS website also indicates two additional inmates have been tested and the results are pending.

TCJS reports 37 inmates have been quarantined.

The report also indicates four jailers have tested positive for COVID-19 and nine are quarantined pending test results.

San Angelo LIVE! has reached out to Tom Green County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Nick Hanna for comment on the report.
