Early Voting Continues Until Friday Afternoon

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Early voting for the July 14th Democratic Primary Runoff election will continue through Friday, July 10th.  

Early voting hours are from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and voting is being conducted inside the election office located at 113 W. Beauregard Ave.

According to the election office, currently, 184 people have voted in person and 580 ballots by mail have been returned voted. Ballots should be returned, via mail, by 7/14. Voters may deliver voted ballots to be counted to the Election Office on Election Day.  

Voters must bring the ballot inside the office and must be prepared to present a qualifying form of ID. If a voter prefers to surrender the ballot and vote at a poll they may do so.

Contests on the ballot include U.S. Senate and Railroad Commissioner.  Eligible voters include voters that voted in the Democratic primary election March 3rd or voters that did not vote in the March 3rd election.

Some of the countywide polling places have been relocated or closed for the July 14th election so voters should verify the locations that are available for voting.

Voters are strongly encouraged to wear a facemask in the poll. A glove will be provided to each voter to use as they vote.

Curbside voting will be available at all locations for anyone that is physically unable to enter the polling place without personal assistance or the likelihood of injuring your health.  

Further, anyone with signs or symptoms of COVID-19 is encouraged to consider curbside voting.

Election day voting will be conducted from 7 am to 7 pm at the following locations:
