Coronavirus: Permian Basin Death Toll Hits 30

 

MIDLAND, TX – Coronavirus numbers in the Permian Basin continue to rise as the number of positive cases reaches over 2,300. 

According to CBS7, on July 8, Midland county has 976 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Next door in Ector County officials have reported 1,392 positive cases. 

11 people have died in Ector County and 19 people have died in Midland County. 

522 of the 1,392 patients in Ector County have recovered while only 250 of the 976 patients in Midland have recovered.
