Early Voting for the July Democrat Party Runoff Election Underway

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Early voting for the July 14, 2020 runoff election in Tom Green County began Monday and runs through July 10. 

According to the Tom Green County Elections office early voting runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Thursday July 2.

There will be no voting on Juy 3 - 5, 2020.

Early voting resumes Monday, July 6 and runs through Friday July 10 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Keyes building downtown. 

Election day is Tuesday, July 14. 

There are no local races on the ballot. 

Democratic voters will be deciding between Royce West and Mary "MJ" Hegar for the Democratic nominee for United States Senator.

The other race on the ballot in Tom Green County is for the Democratic nominee for Railroad Commissioner between Robert R. "Beto" Alonzo and Chrysta Castaneda.

Only democrats can vote in this runoff.  The ballot states, "I am a Democrat and I understand that I am ineligible to vote or participate in another political party's primary election or convention during this voting year."
