Shannon Health System Acquires Former Neighbors Emergency Center

SAN ANGELO, TX – Shannon Health System has purchased the former Neighbors Emergency Center located at 3417 Sherwood Way.

According to Connect Texas, the property was purchased by the Trustees of Shannon West Texas Memorial Hospital for an undisclosed sum.

This property is a vacant, Class A 8,432 square foot freestanding emergency room. It was built in 2016 and will offer Shannon Medical Center, as the healthcare system is now known, a highly-finished medical office space with ample patient and employee parking.

Scott Herbold, Austin Barrett and Scott Carter with CBRE’s Texas Healthcare Group represented the undisclosed seller.

“There seems to be an uptick in interest and sales activity in the freestanding ER space, even preceding the pandemic,” said Herbold. “While some remain ER facilities, many investors are also finding this property type a prime opportunity to provide non-emergency medical services in a retail setting to the surrounding community.”

Dang... Shannon is the up and coming Suddenlink.... Just like Suddenlink, they will be able to treat people like feral dogs, give shoddy care and service and not a thing can be done about it because they will exclusively own the only care facilities within a 100 mile radius.of San Angelo........
