BIG SPRING, TX – The City of Big Spring has confirmed two new cases of coronavirus.
According to Big Spring Mayor Shannon Thomason, both cases involve healthcare workers at the Lamon Lusk Sanchez State Veteran’s Home.
One patient is identified as a 26-year-old female who is currently isolating at home. The second patient is a 59-year-old female who is also isolating. Both patients are expected to recover after they contracted the virus through community spread. These new cases raise the case count to eight in Howard County.
Big Spring/Howard County Emergency Management is coordinating with the VA, SMMC, Texas DSHS, Texas Department of Emergency Management, and the facility to further ensure the health and safety of the residents and staff at the SVH.
“Please keep the residents and staff at Lamon Lusk Sanchez in your thoughts and prayers. We also ask that our residents continue to practice common-sense precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” said Thomason.

... of this Veterans State Home. Just curious if these are "True" confirmed cases of the virus? There are news articles that a lot of the test used for the virus have proven to be "tainted" with the virus. So ... it peaks my curiosity... that those two test that were used ... were "Good" or "Tainted"?? Who knows for sure?? It seems that since the State along with the rest of the Country is lifting restrictions... that we are starting to get reports of some testing positive for this virus! Who ... knows??? I don't know... some things about this entire situation... don't make sense! Is it all just a big controversy or is it the Truth?? Who knows? Somebody knows ... and the actual truth won't come to light until all Countries involved are on the verge of total economic collapse!
The entire world has entered the " Twilight Zone! Where's Rod Sterling??
