OZONA, TX – Crockett County and Texas Forest Service Firefighters are battling a number of wildfires in windy conditions Friday.
According to the Crockett County Fire Department, TFS on the CR 405 fire has 2 dozers and 4-5 engines headed to that fire plus hand crews on scene currently.
Davidson Fire off Pandale Rd has another dozer and engine crew about 30 minutes away coming from Fredricksburg.
"Already has several engines on scene. Holding the lines at this time.
Air support had been grounded due to wind." from a social media post.
All Crockett County Fire resources headed to CR 107.
