Coronavirus by the Numbers: Daily Map Shows Increase in Recoveries by 818

SAN ANGELO, TX – As previously reported on Wednesday, the Texas Department of Health Services reported 34,422 confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus in Texas. 

Following Thursday's update from the Texas Department of Health Services, the number of confirmed cases rose to 35,390  with the current fatality toll up to 973 and 18,440 patients who have recovered statewide. Lab confirmed patients currently hospitalized decreased from 1,812 on Wednesday to 1,750 on Thursday. Recoveries increased by 818 from the 17,622 reported on Wednesday to the 18,440 reported on Thursday.

Out of the 254 counties in Texas there are currently 217 that are reporting confirmed cases of Coronavirus.

• 455,162 - Total Tests Administered
• 14, 661 - Tests Done in Public Labs
• 440,501 - Tests Done in Private Labs
