Coronavirus by the Numbers: Daily Map Shows Active Patients Hospitalized Decreasing

SAN ANGELO, TX – As previously reported on Tuesday, the Texas Department of Health Services reported 33,369 confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus in Texas. 

Following Wednesday's update from the Texas Department of Health Services, the number of confirmed cases rose to 34,422  with the current fatality toll up to 948 and 17,622 patients that have recovered statewide. Lab confirmed patients currently hospitalized decreased from 1,888 on Tuesday to 1,812 on Wednesday.

Out of the 254 counties in Texas there are currently 216 that are reporting confirmed cases of Coronavirus.
