Coronavirus: Texas Military Department Will Offer Free Testing In Ballinger

 

BALLINGER, TX— Representative Drew Darby announced on Facebook the Texas Military Department will be conducting  COVID-19 testing across Texas. On Saturday, April 25th they will be testing individuals that reside in Runnels County.

The tests will be conducted at the Runnels County Community Center located at 200 Crosson Ave in Ballinger. Those interested in receiving a test may make an appointment online at https://txcovidtest.org/ or by calling (512) 883-2400. This testing is available at no cost for individuals.

Individuals who want to be tested will be screened to determine whether they have one or more of the following symptoms: 

  • Fever and/or chills
  • Cough (dry or productive) 
  • Fatigue
  • Body aches/muscle or joint pain 
  • Shortness of breath 
  • Sore throat
  • Headaches
  • Nausea/Vomiting/ Diarrhea
  • Nasal congestion 
  • Loss of taste and/or smell

Testing will also be going on in Marfa, Brackettville, El Campo, Mathis, and Alpine on Saturday.
